Description:
Don’t let the waddle and wide grin fool you Chompbuds are territorial flora-fauna hybrids born from corrupted soil and residual aether bloom. With a thick, bulbous cap and rows of jagged teeth, these plant-like creatures lurch across terrain on twisted root-legs, waiting to snap at unsuspecting scavengers.

Their bodies emit trace amounts of bio-lume energy, suggesting they once served a symbiotic role in maintaining ecosystem balance. Now, however, most Chompbuds are feral aggressive and quick to nip at anything that moves.

Behavior:

• Lunges forward in short bursts, attempting to bite.
  
  

• Retreats briefly after being struck, then re-engages.
  
  

• Occasionally drops Chomp Resin, used in crafting simple potions or binding agents.
